One thing I hate about all Anime is that there is so much. Finding all the DVDs is hard, so here I will list the DVDs in
order as I get all of them.
After few days of searching and about $500 later I had volumes 1-26. I got them from an eBay seller and other various places
like amazon.com. I wish they would re-release these onto a box set...26 DVDs is waaaaay too many. Despite the amount of
DVDs and their limited availability, if you can get ahold of them they are great DVDs.
Here is a list of pokemon volumes 1-26. From what I know volumes 1-26 can basically be considered season 1. It has all episodes
except for "Pallet Party Panic." But that is on the first volume of the next DVD set.
I Choose You! Pikachu!
The Mystery of Mount Moon!
The Sisters of Cerulan City
Poké-Friends!
Thunder Shock!
Seaside Pikachu!
Psychic Surprise!
Primeape Problems!
Fashion Problems!
Fighting Tournement!
The Great Race!
Pikachu Party!
Wake Up Snorlax!
Jigglypuff Pop!
Charizard!!
Totally Togepi!
Picture Perfecy
Water Blast!
Our Hero Meowth!
The Final Badge!
The Poké Corral!
Hang Ten, Pikachu!
Show Time!
Into The Arena!
ROUND ONE!
Friends & Rivals!
UPDATE 9/19/06: I recently read that they are releasing a "Pokemon Season 1" Box set. I was pissed off at
first because I spent over 500 dollars on the first season buying them on individual DVDs. However, what the fans consider
season one and what the networks/companies/nintendo/warner brothers consider to be season one are very different. As I understand
it, the fans consider the seperate seasons to have seperate intros. Since I have only watched the 26 dvds that I have I wouldn't
know. From the lists I have seen, the fans consider season 1 to have 83 episodes. On pokemon.com they have only 51 episodes.
So I'm assuming that the DVD box set will be episodes 1-51. I do have to give them credit for making the episodes available
in a box set, but I wish they would go by what the fans consider the seasons to be.
